Celebration of the scientific partnership between Côte d’Ivoire and Switzerland

On Thursday, June 11, 2015, the amphitheater of the university Felix Houphouet Boigny was the setting for the celebration of Ivorian-Swiss scientific partnership and delivery of the 8th AWARD CSRS FUND-Eremitage. Organised by the Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques en Côte d’Ivoire in partnership with the University Felix Houphouet Boigny. This ceremony aims to build more links, maintain relationships at all levels with Switzerland and recognize the merit of some researchers.

The university's president, Ms. Ly Bakayogo Ratama expressed a real pleasure and a great honor to speak on behalf of the entire university community during this ceremony, which she considered as an opportunity for Côte d'Ivoire and Switzerland to reaffirm their commitment and their common will to continue their cooperation in the field of science, when the Director General of CSRS Prof. Bassirou Bonfoh, expressed his joy for the event and thanked the Swiss delegation for coming massively.

He also asked the researchers to invest in scientific research and appealed the ivorian government for further investment in scientific activities. As for Mr. Albert Kpangni, Chief of Staff of the Minister of scientific research, he congratulated the winner team of the 8th AWARD CSRS FUND-Eremitage composed of  Prof. Inza Koné, Dr Bi Sery Gonédélé and Dr Dietmar Zienner.and promised assistance from the Minitry.

It is good to note that this ceremony received an important contribution from the Consortium Afrique One.
